Dear Governor Northam,

I am calling on you to create an alternate nesting island quickly for the seabirds displaced by the Hampton Roads Bridge expansion. Critical habitat for a host of species, including the Royal Tern, and threatened species, like the Gull-billed Tern, was destroyed when South Island was paved this year. You must take action to create a suitable site for these birds to nest before they return from their winter migration.
